Scott Walker - The Drift

"You and me against the world."

Scott,
Never stop your
cataclysmic crooning.

My Winter Nerve - Leave it to Science to Solve All Your Problems

I think that this unfortunately now split
Maryland based band is great,
but I am too tired
and too apathetic
to explain why.

They are a mix of good
post rock and mid-west emo.

The Dirty Projectors - Temecula Sunrise Ep

I am sorry,
but I am a sucker
for the dirty projectors.
They are just great.
At the very least,
their vocal work is undeniably
irresistible.

However,
this release is absolutely
in conflict with my mood.

Xplo-Sean - Believe Me/Outbreak

I recommend downloading
all of Xplo-Sean's tracks
from the Mad For It site.
Absolutely amazing,
lofi darkwave/synthpop,
and free too!

He sounds like an m83 who
never saw the light of day,
only a broken strobe,
and recorded alone
on a cheap multitrack.

Parker Lewis - The Cynicals

I would have preferred
to post a link to his
self titled album,
but the link on the
Mad For It site
is broken.

In any event,
this ep is fantastic.
Be sure to investigate
Parker Lewis' other releases
as well. They are free
for crying out loud.

July Skies - Dreaming of Spires

This album is simply divine.
Enjoy.
